Celebrating a Legacy of Fellowship, Elegance, and Tradition

The Royal Gala Dinner Dance, now in its 33rd year, is one of the most anticipated events on the calendar of the Royal College Old Boys’ Association of Ontario (ROCOBA). Since its inception in the early 1990s, the Gala has grown from a modest alumni gathering into a grand celebration of Royalist spirit, Sri Lankan heritage, and community togetherness.

Each year, Royalists and their families from across Ontario and beyond come together to relive cherished memories, forge new connections, and celebrate the enduring values of Royal College, Colombo. The evening is filled with elegance—featuring live music, fine dining, captivating entertainment, and a dance floor that brings generations together.

Beyond the glamour, the Gala also plays a vital role in supporting ROCOBA’s charitable and educational initiatives, including scholarships, school development projects, and cultural outreach. The 33rd edition continues this noble tradition, uniting Royalists in celebration while giving back with purpose.
