34th Annual New Year's Eve Royal Gala Dinner Dance 2025

Over 30 Years of Tradition and Excellence

Founded in 1991, the New Year’s Eve Royal Gala Dinner Dance has been a proud tradition in our community for more than three decades. Growing year after year, it has become one of the largest and most celebrated events in the region.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and partners whose support makes this year’s celebration possible.

Presented by the Royal College Old Boys’ Association of Ontario, the Annual New Year’s Eve Royal Gala Dinner Dance promises an evening of elegance, joy, and fellowship.


Guest Artists

Joining the evening as special guest performers will be Kamaj Silva and Melissa Lee, adding their unique flair to this year’s celebration.


Music by Skylines

Live music will be provided by Skylines, with Kushmin Be once again leading the band, just as he did last year. Their performance is sure to keep the dance floor alive throughout the night.

The ROCOBA Toronto Chapter is led by President Ravi Rajan and Vice President Senaka Kalansuriya, with Janith Abayadeera serving as Secretary and Upendra Mailiawalana as Assistant Secretary. The financial responsibilities are managed by Treasurer Kanishka Bastiampillai and Assistant Treasurer Ahilesan Arumugam. Thayalan Paramalingam oversees Membership Services, while the IT Committee includes Asanka Sahabandu, Indika Dissanayaka, and Janith Abayadeera. The Immediate Past President is Dilkaran Rajendra, whose continued support and guidance strengthen the committee’s efforts.

The Royal College Old Boys' Association of Ontario (RCOBAO) was established to bring together alumni of Royal College Colombo who are now residing in Ontario, Canada. Since its inception, ROCOBA has been a vital platform for fostering camaraderie, preserving traditions, and promoting the values instilled during our years at Royal College. Over the decades, the association has grown into a thriving community that not only connects old boys but also supports charitable initiatives, organizes cultural and social events, and promotes the spirit of unity among Royalists worldwide.
